We must get rid of ‘Riders’ in Bills, Laws

Imagine a lawmaker wants to give 100 Billion Dollars to Chrysler to ‘help the economy.’

He drafts a bill titled, “Save the Little Children, and the little puppies Bill.”

Imagine the political consequences of voting against the CHILDREN AND THE LITTLE PUPPIES.

The bill has nothing to do with puppies or children, except in name, but everything to do with giving 100 Billion dollars to Chrysler.

These antics go on every day in Washington, and we have no choice but support our congressmen and women in saving the little children and the little puppies.
